State Officer Leadership Training (SOLT) 2024: Empowering the Leaders of Tomorrow
Dover, DE – June 5, 2024 – The 2024 State Officer Leadership Training (SOLT) is set to take place on June 20-21, 2024, at the Delaware State Fire School. This event promises to be an enriching experience for students, providing them with the essential skills and knowledge to excel in their leadership roles.
During the two-day training, students will engage in activities designed to enhance their leadership capabilities. They will learn to identify and articulate their strengths, craft effective mission statements, and develop SMARTIE goals for their projects. The program also includes teamwork activities and the Clifton’s Strengths for Students assessment, which will aid them in creating personalized improvement plans and calendars of events.
Sessions on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) and social media management will ensure that attendees are prepared to lead inclusively and professionally, both online and in person. By the end of SOLT, students will be equipped with the tools to lead their Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) effectively, collaborate with their teams, and implement successful leadership strategies.
